What engine do your excavators use?
Our Rippa mini excavators are powered by Kubota diesel engines — the industry gold standard for reliability, fuel efficiency, and cold-weather starting. Kubota parts are widely available at dealers across the US.
What attachments are included?
Every Rippa mini excavator comes with 12 FREE attachments valued at over $3,000. This typically includes multiple bucket sizes, a ripper tooth, a mechanical thumb, and more — everything you need to start working on day one.
What is the difference between the R22 and R32?
The R22 (2.3 ton) is a compact workhorse perfect for residential and light commercial work with a Kubota D1105 3-cylinder engine. Do I need a special license to operate a mini excavator?
In most US states, you do not need a special license to operate a mini excavator on private property. However, some commercial job sites may require OSHA-compliant training certifications. Check your local regulations for specific requirements.
